Dear Members & Friends of the AST,
I hope you are well and if you're in Tokyo, staying cool, or if you've ventured somewhere cooler or more exotic for the school holidays, I hope you're having fun!
It doesn't seem like that long ago that we were announcing the Australia Day Ball but it's already August and time to announce the sale of tickets for the Australia Society Tokyo Annual Family BBQ on September 13th in the Australian Embassy gardens. Come and join us for an afternoon of bbq and food by Harry's Catering, Aussie wine from Jeroboam, craft beer from Beer Cats, and a whole lot of fun. There will be entertainment for the children, live music, complimentary mini photo sessions with Keyshots Photography and some great prizes to be won in the charity raffle too. 60 tickets have already been sold since the weekend when the event information was added to the AST homepage so if you're interested in attending, I urge you to book your tickets as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
We have an early bird special for bookings of 10 that include a minimum of 4 adults. This ends August 31st so please email Nina at email@example.com to take advantage of this deal.
For those who are attending our (sold-out) AST Wine Tasting Evening at Roti on August 22nd, I look forward to catching up with you there. If not, I hope to see you at the BBQ!
