Living in Tokyo Workshop #1:  Earthquake Preparedness with WaNavi Japan

We have invited WaNavi Japan to help us host a series of workshops to make help make living in Tokyo an easier experience for our AST members & friends.  Our first workshop is Earthquake Preparedness which will be held on the 7th floor of Axall Roppongi, just opposite Tokyo Midtown. WaNavi Japan has been providing Earthquake Preparedness workshops for international residents since the Great Eastern Earthquake and Tsunami Disaster in 2011, and continues to support people affected by natural disasters. This is an excellent opportunity to prepare yourself and your family for earthquakes in Japan.

The workshop covers all the things you need to know:

*how to react

*earthquake literacy

*how to collect information

*how to communicate

*what to expect after an earthquake

*things you can do to prepare beforehand

The workshop includes survival Japanese lessons to understand vital words related to earthquakes, and interactive games.

There will be a children's crafts corner so children may also attend. Refreshments will be provided.

Join us on Saturday, April 14th for a 14:00-sharp start.

Axall Roppongi 7F, 7-8-6 Roppongi, Minato-ku, Tokyo

(directly opposite Tokyo Midtown Roppongi)
